The town manages to maintain a perfect balance, offering a charming mix of traditional tapas bars and narrow cobbled streets, with the beaches, shops and amenities associated with a successful holiday resort. The house is a 2 - 3 min drive/15 - 20 min walk to the centre of Nerja. The urbanisation has a bar, and the nearest shop (small but surprisingly well stocked) is approximately 200 metres away. Bread and croissants are baked fresh every day. Dining on the terrace is a delight, with birdsong at breakfast time and swifts swooping overhead in the evenings. On Tuesday/Sunday you can hunt for bargains in the town's street market/car boot sale, which is just around the corner.
